Buffalo Lake Integrated Shoreland Management Plan

The Buffalo Lake Integrated Shoreland Management Plan identifies how provincial agencies will manage the public shoreland land Right-of-Way surrounding the lake to provide for recreation access and retain natural values. The plan will give landowners, residents, municipalities and the government clear direction on what activities can and cannot occur on the public land and within the first 100 metres of the lake itself. An inter-municipal development plan will manage the adjacent private land. BLISMP is not a “lake management plan”.
